The latest release of Private Passwords is now out, and at the moment we are planning for this to be the last release before the public beta version.

Version 0.1.7 includes these changes:

  • Move to/Copy to folder
  • Password strength meter
  • Changed home page HTML to be more semantically correct for non-CSS browsers
  • Started adding more help files (we have made an a help file CMS to make it easy for us to maintain this now!)
  • Made the “No” button on delete pages really big, and the “Yes” button really small
  • Fixed bug in Google Chrome where menu items were wrapping round
  • Added “Cancel” links to pages to cancel editing

Some of the planned changes to be implemented before the next release:

  • More help content
  • Better form validation
  • Audit trail alerts
  • Change account e-mail address or deactivate accounts
  • More improvements to favicon fetching
  • Add favourites to mobile version of Private Passwords
  • OpenSearch search plug-in
  • A few more :)
